Medical-grade facial treatments, also known as medi-facials, are treatments that are designed to treat particular skin conditions and are safe for all skin types. These are done at medical cosmetologists office using certain devices and constituents like microdermabrasion, peels , Photo rejuvenation (IPL), etc.
Medical facials compared to Spa facials are not considered pampering and are more to affect the skin at a deeper level. If you have specific skin concerns, they are the best option for improvement. A medical facial provides a clinical approach to treatment and is more concerned with the outcome rather than a relaxing spa-like experience.
At Brentwood Medical Aesthetics, while we want you to be relaxed and pampered, our main focus is on bringing change and rejuvenating your skin. Under the supervision of a Doctor, the practitioner has access to products and devices that are not available at your local spa. Stronger concentrations and prescription-strength ingredients can be used and customized to the patient’s specific goals.
With a medical-grade facial, physical and chemical forms of exfoliation are utilized, which allows the natural sloughing of dead skin cells to occur quicker- resulting in more beautiful skin. Chemical Peels
Results After Peel: Smoothness, radiance, clearer skin, firmer skin, balanced tone.
Course of treatment: A series of 6 peel treatments is recommended, spaced 2-3 weeks apart, and maintenance peels can then be performed monthly.
Our Peels: VI PEEL, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, specialized enzyme peels, whitening peel.
Microdermabrasion
Using diamond tips, Microdermabrasion is a mechanical exfoliation that removes the uppermost layer of dead skin cells from the face, chest, and hands, and helps even out skin tone, reduce pore size, remove dry, dehydrated skin, minimize fine lines and wrinkles, and prevent blemishes. Each starts with a cleanse and tone and includes a serum, mask, moisturizer, and layer of SPF protection.
Suitable for: All skin types, Dry, dehydrated skin, fine lines and wrinkles, acne scar, large pores, uneven skin tone.
Caution: Not recommended for active acne.
Course of Treatment: Results are cumulative, generally, 3-6 treatments spaced 7-14 days apart, followed by monthly maintenance.
Microneedling
Microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure for skin rejuvenation. It’s used to treat loose skin, age spots, acne scars, stretch marks, and other skin concerns via collagen production.
